OSCAR data analysis for CPAP?

Greetings..is anyone familiar with the OSCAR data analysis for CPAP?

Thank you in advance for your help on this matter.

  1. Yes! I check it every week when I clean my gear. I love how I can see every breath I take. It has also helped me dial in my therapy to be most effective. (Three year CPAP user).

    1. Great!, I am doing the same..I have learned a lot from the OSCAR analysis of my data..I have been a CPAP user for more then 15 years now, and lately I upgraded to a BIPAP machine and I sleep much better..my AHI is between 0.2 and 0.9 most of my nights…

  2. Hi Gino! I'm glad you're here -- it sounds like you're working hard to learn more about your personal experience with sleep apnea. What brought this exploration on for you? Do you feel like your equipment isn't working well for you? Just curious to learn more about your journey if you're up for sharing more. 😀 -Melissa, team member

    1. ,
Yes indeed..I have been learning a lot since I was able to analyze my own data on OSCAR..discovering that I had an airway resistance syndrome by looking at the particular shape and curvature on waves of my breathing..

  3. Lori,
    Greetings!
Thank you very much for your prompt reply..
I really appreciate to have people like you helping me with my sleep apnea quest for better solutions!

    1. What a great question, . I am not super familiar with OSCAR, though I know the software is free and was created by a CPAP user. I did find a video on this site that discusses how to interpret and use the data: https://axgsleepdiagnostics.com/sleep-blog-2/oscar/. I hope this helps and that you get input from others in the community. Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)
