I just got my dental appliance and so far it has been good. I go back to the dentist soon and will update. I hate the mask so this has to work

HI! I tried using an oral appliance, but I knew it wasn't helping much (life ended about 3:30 every day for me). Now, after an at home sleep study and with an APAP machine - Resvent (happy with it) - and AHI around 3, I'm alive again. Oral appliances just don't work for some people.

Hi! I think the sucess of a dental device does vary from person to person and depends a lot on how bad your sleep disordered breathing is. Sounds like you are doing well with your PAP machine though. Thanks for posting about your experience. Warmly, Lisa (Team Member)

I used one for several years before graduating to APAP. They travel well, are easy to clean and adjust, and can help a little. Those are the pros. The cons for me were shifts in my bite, headaches, TMJ. I really do much better with APAP but my OSA may have just worsened because I went through menopause. I think, ultimately, it will depend on your OSA severity. Medicare will cover it following a very specific list of criteria: https://www.cms.gov/medicare-coverage-database/details/lcd-details.aspx
