Headgear and Mask

I have been sleeping with my resmed machine for 6 years. I have always used the same brand mask and headgear. I recently order same brand and size mask as the past 6 years. I never had any problems with the mask before. I replace the mask every three months. The last two I bought ripped and came apart at the seam within two sleeps. Has anyone else had the same problem?

  1. Hi . Have you reached out to the manufacture? I hope they are replacing them for you free of charge. With any luck, it was just a bad batch, but it's also possible the company has made changes that have impacted the quality. Have you considered trying a different brand? My husband recently had to find a new mask because the one he wore for 13 years is now out of production. It was a bit of a frustrating experience, but our local medical supply store was a huge help.
