Using distilled water from cheap plastic jugs.

I wonder how much plastic particles we inhale every night using plastic bottled distilled water. I'm just curious.

  1. Hi Janet. Maybe I’m being paranoid. I have thought about running the distilled bottle water through some kind of filter just to ease my mind.

    1. Hi Dirk, that's a really good question and doing a cursory from my end yields nothing conclusive reach leaching. However, I found these helpful bits:

It might be better to store distilled water in glass, but the glass must be sanitized

If storing distilled water in its original plastic jug, store it sealed tightly in a cool, dark place

If you're really concerned, there are home water distilling appliances under $100 that might do the job straight off your tap.

  2. Hi Dirk. I have never thought of that or seen anything. That is a good question. I wouldn't begin to know where to find an answer to that. If you hear anything, would you please let us know.
Hopefully someone will have some answers for us.
