This worked for me

1. Doing aerobic exercise in the evening.
2. Doing aerobic exercise or other aerobic activity just before going to bed.

This keeps my airway from collapsing in the night.

  1. I forgot to mention: I do strenuous aerobic exercise for the UPPER BODY.

    1. This is great news. Were you using a CPAP before? I'm curious to know how you learned that your airway was doing better using this strategy. -Melissa, team member

      1. Melissa,
No, I've never used a CPAP.

The reason I know aerobic exercise helped me is because when I wake up,
        1. I'm well rested.
        2. My mind is clear.
        3. I have no trouble concentrating.
        4. I'm full of energy.
        (In other words, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed 😀)

        Other things I do are
        1. Start off sleeping on my side.
        2. Wear loose light clothing in bed so that the chest and abdomen can expand and contract freely.

    2. Hi . How awesome that you found a healthy, natural way to improve your sleep apnea. How did you discover that this routine was effective? Thanks for sharing what helps. Warml, Lori (Team Member)

      1. Lori,
Besides what I wrote in my reply to Melissa, one reason I know this routine is effective is because when I wake up in the morning, my memories (specially emotional memories) of the previous day or two are still intact.

        Cheers.

      2. I hope you are always able to control it this way. Thanks for getting back to me and for sharing what helps. - Lori (Team Member)
