Nasal polyps

Hi everyone. After many years of fatigue, tiredness, memory loss and generally feeling down I think I have finally discovered my problem. On having an endoscopy procedure for a stomach problem the camera shows on entry a huge nasal polyp up my left nostril
My wife has often moaned about my snoring and having got her to listen to me confirms that I am continually stopping breathing for up to 8 seconds at times. After years of visits to my GP complaining of various symptoms I’m very disappointed that sleep apnea wasn’t mentioned.
The nasal polyp is obviously blocking my airway causing me problems.
I am going to have the polyp removed and hope this will help my sleep. Has anyone else had the same as me? Have you managed to cure your problem!??

  1. Not quite the same I had enlarged tonsils and my adenoid was the size of a golf ball. It defiantly helped when I was first diagnosed I need the machine on the highest setting possible and after I had the surgery I was able to from 20 to 14 for setting. I hope the surgery brings you some relief and maybe even a cure.
