mouth taping
Four friends used C-PAP machines anywhere from one month to a year or so. Three hate it so much they gave up on them! (The only woman in the group has used one for many years and she likes it.) My cardiologists recommended I use a C-PAP but I refused after hearing my friends' complaints. That was two years ago. I experimented with 3 or 4 mouth tapes and settled on the best brand for me. I will use them til the day I die!

. I am glad you found something that works for you. My husband disliked his at first, but then he exchanged the full face mask for a nasal pillow. He's been using a CPAP for more than a decade now and can't really sleep without it. His heart had been enlarged, but it returned to normal size after a year on the CPAP. If ever you do decide to give it a try again, I hope you come here for support. Many people give up on CPAPs without ever knowing about all the mask options.
