    1. Hi . By "we," Melissa means moderators and health leaders who are employees or contractors of Health Union, our parent company. Here is a link if you want to learn more about Health Union: https://health-union.com/culture/. Our community rules prohibit people (members, moderators and health leaders) from giving medical advice. That is one way in which we maintain a safe and credible environment. Rather, we encourage people to share their healthcare experiences and allow others to take away from that what they will, For instance, if someone has a bad experience with a medication, our rules would prohibit them from tell others members never to take it and that is doesn't work. They could, however, related their experience, telling others that it didn't work for them They could also warn members that they might want to ask their doctors about the side effects or consider other options. Does that make sense? In this case, someone might comment on how their numbers relate to the poster's number and what those results meant for them, but we would have to delete any comments in which someone provided a medical interpretation of those results or a diagnosis, for the safety of the poster. Here is a link to our community rules if you are interested: https://health-union.com/community-rules/. Please feel free to reach out if your have other questions. Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)

    2. Hi Lori!

      I agree and understand. But discerning advice from a shared experience is in the eyes of the beholder. The rest is all rhetoric. 😀

      You can say: "#20 of SA events means...;" which reads like "medical advice";
      or you can say: "In my experience (as my doctor explained it to me, or as I read somewhere), #20 of SA events means...", which reads like sharing an experience.

      But the impact is the same and depends entirely on the recipient's gullibility, of which they should be warned regardless.

  2. Hi. Did you hear from your doctor's office about the results? Don't be afraid to call them if not.

    I hear how frustrated you are in wearing your BiPAP. It's not always easy. There are quite a few articles in our archives about adjustment with tips and tricks from people who have been in similar situations. Here's a link:

    We're here for you. You might also want to talk to your doctor about other options that might be available. Take care! -Melissa, team member

    1. Hi . Welcome to the community! I wish we could help, but we are not medical experts. The readings would be best interpreted by a pulmonologist. Do you have an appointment soon? BiPAP mask options have changed tremendously over the years. There are some masks that barely even cover your nose. Many people go through a lot of trial and error before finding one that works for them, but they are often so happy with the impact on their health that they find all that work is worth it. Here is an article about the mask-fitting process that might interest you: https://sleepapnea.sleep-disorders.net/living/mask-fitting. I hope this helps. - Lori (Team Member)
