Best cpap for allergies

I'm due to select cpap. Have severe allergies, sinus. Is there anyone else like this and what cpap do you use? Thanks.

  1. Thanks

    1. Thanks so much.

      1. I find that spritzing with saline nasal spray prior to using CPAP helps me quite a bit. For stubborn problems, a blast from my menthol inhaler can help, and a sinus spray with menthol in it breaks down the harder-to-clear blockages. Ultimately, my allergies and sinus infections have disappeared largely because using the CPAP has eliminated the problem of postnasal drip every morning, thanks to the warm moist air that is part of the CPAP therapy. So there may be a hidden benefit to CPAP you can look forward to!

        1. thank you. There's a shortage they say so don't know when I will get it.

        2. Yes, it's terrible that CPAP machines are in limited supply right now. I do hope you get one soon, but it may still be a while yet: While ResMed is trying to pick up the slack from the Philips recall, there is still a computer chip shortage that's keeping them from getting it done. I'm so sorry that there has to be this long wait. Have you checked CPAP.com? If you have a prescription, you should be able to buy one from them and insurance should cover it, though I don't know what the delivery wait time will be... Best wishes and good luck!
