My events counts are inconsistant going from as low as .6/hr one night to 7.5 the next night, despite no noticeable change in the equipment or my routine from night to night. Is this common? I have been using the CPAP for 18 months.
Hi there, I just saw this. It can happen. Mine can swing from .5 to 8 (though it rarely exceeds 3). I can trace the cause back to having alcohol with or following dinner. Even just one drink will do it! Something to consider. Best wishes! Best, Tamara (SleepApnea.Sleep-Disorders.net community advocate)

It can happen yes. Sometimes it may be depended on how much time you sleep on your back one night compared to the next or if you had any alcohol or certain meds before bed. How are you feeling? Do you feel really rested and have enough energy to function well all day? If you haven't been feeling great, you should speak to your sleep specialist about this. If you feel great, it's probably just a normal night to night variant. Let us know how you are doing. Warmly, Lisa (SleepApnea.Sleep-Disorders.net Team Member)
