Never sure if that's my problem.

I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea about 30 years ago. I tried using a c-pap on many occasions without success. I have been given other sleep studies where I was diagnosed with mild to moderate sleep-apnea and another one where I didn't sleep enough to be diagnosed. I trained myself to sleep on my stomach which seemed to work well as my husband claims he never hears me snore or choke. I have been so tired over the last two years with barely a six hour window to be active. It's very difficult for me to get up in the morning even after a ten hour sleep. Incidentally, I volunteered for another study which involves a small machine which you wear over night and this time I was told that I had such mild apnea that I didn't need treatment. I have very good insurance and have had just about every test known to man. The highlight of my day is going to bed to read around 9😛.m. There are so many things I want to do but I just don't have the energy. I hope someone can help me with this. P.s. I am not obese just 10 lbs .overweight due to inactivity.

  1. I am wondering; did you see a doctor that is boarded in Sleep Medicine, one that specializes in sleep? It is possible to have other sleep disorders besides sleep apnea and a specialist would be aware of those and be able to help you track down why you are so sleepy. As for your weight, I am going to share with you an article. It is totally possible to have sleep apnea and not be obese. https://sleepapnea.sleep-disorders.net/living/misconception-weight Warmly, Lisa (SleepApnea.Sleep-Disorders.net Team Member and Advocate)
