Who else has epilepsy and sleep apnea?
Accidentally submitted this in the wrong area! Apparently up to 40% of people with epilepsy also have sleep apnea, according to https://www.epsyhealth.com/seizure-epilepsy-blog/sleep-apnea-and-epilepsy-is-there-a-link.
Just wanted to see whether anyone here had an experience of both? And which diagnosis came first?
I miss spelled IT FOCAL MOTOR EPILEPSY I developed EPILEPSY ( PHOCO - MOTOR ) in 1973, at 18YearsOld in TORONTO, OHIO, was DIAGNOSED With SEVERE OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA on AUGUST 08 — 09, 2017, and SEVERE Stage lll COPD on NOVEMBER 16, 2017.

I did a search about epilepsy and sleep apnea in our community and I only found this article: https://sleepapnea.sleep-disorders.net/polysomnography-sleep-study. It doesn't say much about the connection between sleep apnea and epilepsy, but there is a reference to sleep-related epilepsy. If you have any experience with both, please feel to share.
