Does anyone get sores in the nose from using a gel nasal pillow mask?

Hi there, I don't use pillows but have allergies, and the medications for them can sometimes overdry and leave me with these sensitive membranes inside my nose. I have found that when my nasal passages feel dry, "squeaky" or raw, a little dab of Ayr nasal gel inside my nostrils (it's approved for this and safe to do so) helps lubricate my nasal passages. Maybe this might work for you? Best, Tamara (SleepApnea.Sleep-Disorders.net community advocate)

Hi , this may be due to your mask being too tight. Have you tried any of the products that may help prevent sores? Some products that may help include: RemZzz’s mask liners, Gecko nasal pad, MaskMate sealer and lubricant, and SoreSpot CPAP Skin Protectors. Hopefully, these will help prevent the sores. Keep us posted. Warmly, Kristin (SleepApnea.Sleep-Disorders.net Team Member)
