Machines on back order

How do you deal with your CPAP being 2 months back ordered? Mine stopped working correctly and my doctor ordered a new one, but been advised there is a 2 month back order. Its been a couple of days now and I'm feeling very tired and sluggish. Any suggestions?

  1. I'm having the same experience....new machines are back-ordered and they can't even give me a time frame!!

    1. That can be hard in that waiting period, I had similar delays in getting mask and supplies because of COVID. There are a few sites that I used online that take insurance I would contact a few of them and see if they have a machine available any sooner. I used https://www.cpapdirect.com/ and https://aeroflowsleep.com/ for supplies. I would circle back around to the doctor and see if there is anywhere else he recommends you can get a new machine locally and then if all else fails try those two I had to give them my insurance, my doctor sent a script for what I needed and I got fairly quickly.
I hope you can get a machine much sooner.

      1. Thanks for the suggestions! Cpapdirect.com does not take insurance but aeroflowsleep.com does. We will see what happens! Again, thanks!
