Changed my life on CPAP Machine

I've been using a CPAP machine now for about 14 years. I never go anywhere without it. I had a sleep study about 14 years ago because I was tired during the day, my bp was sky high, I was always napping during the day, and I was a wreck.

My Doctor recommended for a sleep study, and I was terrified. They put all these wires on me and attached me to some type of machine. I was like how the heck am I supposed to sleep! They gave me a sleeping pill and I feel asleep immediately. I went back the next week to get my results and when I saw how often I stopped breathing in 30 minutes, I was terrified.

The best sleep

The following weekend, I had to come back and sleep with the machine. I did not want to use the Full Face Mask they gave me. My brother had passed and I remember them putting this on him and it made me anxious. Anyway, I used the mask and I remember trying to watch TV. The next thing I knew I had to go to the bathroom, but I was in such a good sleep, I didn't want to get up! It was the best sleep I had in a long time.

I am so grateful for my CPAP. It has been hard at times, because I have to change my mask, because it is being discontinued. I am now trying the Evora Full Face Mask that actually goes right under your nose. Please wish me luck and I am praying for all my fellow CPAP folks. Thanks!
