Chris lives in Strawberry Plains, TN, and was diagnosed with sleep apnea in 2012. He was made aware of his snoring and apneic periods of sleep by his wife and sought help from a sleep specialist. After the two separate nights in a sleep clinic, he was officially diagnosed and prescribed a CPAP machine. Chris advocates for people with potential sleep apnea to seek medical help and use a CPAP if prescribed. Chris lost a college friend to undiagnosed sleep apnea before the age of 30 and shares how this disease takes a toll on the whole body and can ultimately do a lot of harm in a short amount of time.
